Cooling bath thermostats with insulated cooling baths are an economic solution for controlling the temperature of objects directly within the thermostat bath. The units are therefore suitable for a number of typical heating and cooling tasks such as sample temperature control, materials testing, quality control, analyses, etc. Cooling circulators operate with natural refrigerants and are therefore environmentally friendly. In addition the cooling circulators are fitted with automatic refrigeration capacity adjustment, reducing energy consumption and waste heat down to the absolute essential. With low level protection and adjustable over heating protection the systems fulfil the requirements of Safety Class III/FL according to DIN 12876. The thermostats can also be used for externally attached applications using an optional pump adapter.  
 The new multi-touch controller Pilot ONE offers a brilliant 5.7" touchscreen with graphic functions and a comfortable navigation menu. All important operating parameters and temperature values are neatly displayed on the touchscreen. Thanks to the new favourites menu, the one-click operation and the integrated technical glossary the operation is very easy, just like on a smartphone. Integrated USB and Ethernet ports allows connection to a PC or network, e.g. for remote control or data transmission.

5.7" TFT touchscreen display
Operation occurs over a colour 5.7“ touchscreen display with a comfortable menu navigation. All important parameters such as process temperature, jacket temperature, temperature control fluid pressure and safety equipment can be seen at a glance. Temperature curves are even displayed graphically in real time.
True Adaptive Control (TAC)
The True Adaptive Control (TAC) technology goes one step further compared to the majority of automatic PID controllers. TAC analyses the controlled system in the whole temperature range and adapts the also control parameters optimally for strongly fluctuating plant conditions. The TAC technology permanently ensures the shortest regulating times. The classic PID control functions are also adjustable manually instead of the True Adaptive Control.
Function upgrades E-grade
The electronic upgrade function offers unique flexibility for all thermostats and chillers with a Pilot ONE controller. These devices already have a have a comfortable range of functions in their basic design to manage the majority of typical temperature control tasks. The range of functions can be extended again using E-grade and therefore adapted to special tasks. An electronic upgrade is very simple: The user simply needs to enter a device-specific activation code in order to release the additional functionality. The activation code can be ordered at any time later and will be then sent by email.
Integrated programmer
Temperature profiles can be specified and executed using the integral programmer. The individual program steps can be distributed whereby every program step can be executed either temperature stable or time stable. Also functions such as potential-free contact, analogue output, temperature control mode can be activated or deactivated for every program step. Models with the Pilot ONE Professional controller can also be fitted with a ramp function for non-linear temperature curves (e.g. for crystal growing).
USB interfaces
Models with the Pilot ONE controller has two USB interfaces fitted as standard. Via the USB ports data can easily be stored directly onto a USB stick. The USB port also allows connection to a PC or notebook. Together with the spy software, requirements such as remote control or data transmission are easy and cost-effective.
Ethernet interface
The built-in RJ45 Ethernet connection on the Pilot ONE controller allows easy integration into LAN networks. Remote control, data logging, or integration into process control systems is also straightforward.
RS232 interface
The integral RS232 interface allows data communication with computer or process control systems. Measurement data can be transmitted and saved or control commands transmitted to the temperature control machine dependent on the intended use. The software programs SpyLight, SpyControl and SpyWatch allow simple and comfortable connection with Windows PCs.
Compatible with SpyControl
SpyControl is a software for controlling devices and recording and visualising measurement data. The software allows controlling of one or more devices by a programmer. The user can prescribe temperature control programs which then run automatically. The segments of a temperature control program are entered in a user-friendly way into the so-called temperature control program Xplorer. The temperature control programs so created can be modified and archived in any way needed. The principle progress of a temperature control program is visualised in a further graphic.
Plug & Play control technology
The tried and tested Plug & Play technology is unique and shines in the case of service being necessary because of simple exchange of the controller. Thermostats and chillers function with uniform operation – a decisive advantage for all users of various Huber temperature control machines. The controller Pilot ONE can be exchanged with each other and can be used over a data cable as remote control. The Pilot controllers are setting new standards regarding functionality and flexibility.
Easy Control operating concept
You always have everything under control with Easy Control. A simple and intuitive user interface allows quick access to all major system functions and settings. All messages appearing in plain text on the display.
Protection+ safety functions
Models with protection+ are fitted with large range of safety equipment for unmonitored and secure continuous operation. Overtemperature values, nominal value and alarm limits are adjustable to the temperature controlled application dependent on the framework conditions. The temperature and pressure sensors are calibratable and monitor the operation condition. Passive components achieve extraordinarily high reliability. In the event of an accident Unistats are switched off at all poles. Additional emergency cooling circuits can be activated for critical processes.
Natural refrigerants
One performance feature of the Huber product program is consistent environmentally friendly and energy saving generation of refrigeration capacity. To care for the environment and to reduce the green house effect, Huber cooling devices are fitted as standard with natural refrigerants. All cooling circulator also have an automatic refrigeration capacity adjustment and therefore reduce energy consumption and waste heat down to the absolutely essential. Water-cooled models only require a third of the cooling water of conventional chiller units.
